Skyrim has stolen my soul.

What a freaking amazing game. If you haven't played it, you should. Seriously.

What? I'm still here! I check you all out every so often, to see if there's anything new. I decided to MAKE the new, this time. (grin)

What little I've played of Skyrim I looooved. Then we built new systems and I haven't reinstalled it yet. *sigh* Happens every time. My lethargy knows no shame.

Reinstall it. (nods)

To give an example: I've finished the main quest. I've finished most of the side quests. (I am not joining the Thieves Guild, nor do I want to be a werewolf, so I'll do those with another character, maybe, the next time I play the game.)

I'm now working my way through all the random caves and things scattered across the landscape. Because it's too much fun.

FUS ROH DAH!

I think Skyrim is the most game I've ever gotten for my money. I played from November til May. Stopped for three weeks to play Mass Effect 3, then got right back into it. My little Breton is so very pimped.

Heh, my gaming computer hasn't really been usable for the past several months. Almost a year, even. Just recently I put it back together (i.e. built a new one) for the sole reason of playing Skyrim. My new place (we moved again) is also so super-cozy that it just asks for gaming.

Oi!

It's been a crazy year. Crazy two years. Should probably make a separate post about it...

Now they've announced an Elder Scrolls Online. An MMORPG taking place in Tamriel CA. second era. Seems to be based around the Elder Scrolls book "King of Worms", available to read in Skyrim.

My favorite part of the elders scrolls series is the immersion, i'm hoping an MMO wouldn't ruin that. What with everyone toting daedric artifacts and then cookie cutter character builds.
