Back in formation

« on: Aug 10 '10, 22:24:20 »

I was just curious to know if work was still being done on Jungle Fire? It's been quite some time since the last page was uploaded ( 2009?) and forum activity has slowed to a halt. I know it's generally considered bad form to 'pester' artists as to the delivery of the next issue, and for that I apologize. As a long time follower of the web comic, since soon after the site was put up, I'm simply interested to know if we can expect the story to be furthered at all. This site is still featured in my daily rotation of visited web-comics. How's that for hard-headed?

Will Jungle Fire continue?

If so, fantastic. No further details are required. It's ready when it's ready. Thank you.

If not, what other projects are the two of you working on, if any?

Regards.

Yes, Jungle Fire continues.

This is still our most important personal project.

We flog ourselves frequently for not putting out pages like we used to Sad

Look for a new page before next week. We've been sitting on this one for far too long...

Also, no need to apologize for pestering. We didn't know there were still people who cared out there Smiley

I miss you guys too!  Hopefully, if we ever do really get things moving at a faster clip with the story, it won't be too late to re-gather the little family on these boards.

Jungle Fire's one of those things that just won't go away Wink

We always keep coming back to it. It'll be cool when the work-stresses get lower and we can give JF the TLC it deserves.

On a side note, I seem to have a knack for jumping into new jobs when there's some super-critical massive project just being kicked off. Plays havoc with the important stuff in life, like Jungle Fire. But first step towards recovery is admitting the existence of a problem, so we're making headway Smiley

Yeah, creating something...that's what living is meant for.  If I can't leave behind some stories - whether prose, illustration, or that marvelous combo of both known as comics - then I'll be mightily pissed at myself.

I haven't checked back in a long while but I'm glad to see that there is a new comic. Smiley Life always manages to sneak up on a person sometimes.  Shocked
