Well hot diggity, our first review!   Oh my...  Jungle Fire was reviewed over at Broken Frontier in their "Daily Read".  And they are nice to us too.

Linky

There's not a thing in there I don't either sheepishly agree with, or find absolutely thrilling to read someone say about us.

Hey!  That's really a pretty great review!  Smiley

Love this...

The one point this raises though, is when something comes along largely or entire separate from this notion of fantasy, it tends to stand out and it tends to make waves.

Jungle Fire is certainly this something. Bypassing the traditional manga/anime-style normally attached to most fantasy webcomics, Jungle Fire is lusciously rendered exactly like the green jungle setting it intones.

And this should make you guys feel warm and fuzzy!

However, when the art is this extraordinary, some things are just worth waiting for. The writing is equally engrossing, lending quite a lot depth and personalities to all of the characters, especially Foxeye.

I agree with this....when's it gonna be available on the shelves to purchase??? (wouldn't that be wonderful?!?!)

Overall, however, Jungle Fire is an exceedingly professional production, and delays side, every bit the online graphic novel the work aspires to be. This is one webcomic I wouldn’t hesitate to buy off of the book shelves. One look at the art is all it takes to become lost in this jungle!

It's more like seeing a painting in a gallery.  Each page is just a feast for the eyes.

I always find time to wander back here and gawk.

Congratulations on the review.

Thanks! We just recently got ourselves a new printer, and have had lots of fun printing out pages and gallery pictures. We definitely like the visual direction JF is going, so expect more of the same.
