Been doing a little personal itch-scratching...been wanting to honor some of my most-significant RP chars from my D&D past, so I combined that with some blatant ref-usage. Gosh it's so much easier with a reference! (Credit for photo refs to

The height comparison is pretty apt between the two pictures.
These are two of the four all-time-most-significant characters. Rabbit was part of a long campaign in High School...she's a scout-for-hire who looks like a wood elf, but who is in fact a 9'+ green skinned, bald, giant-kin (Voadkyn giant-kin, for those who are up on their D&D monster lore). Had a budding romance with another PC evaporate because he saw her true form.
Taram (or Taram'Pa as she started out, which was my pretend-gnomish for "cracked diamond") was the char I played for two years in college, a gnomish fighter/illusionist who, rather early on, stumbled across yee auld Deck of Many things and got pretty lucky - max charisma and overnight nobility. Hence the change of the name to just Diamond. She was the soft'n'squishy heart of the group, in that there was usually a lot of angst and stoicism swirling around her that she ducked in gnomish fashion. We were always tearing off to resolve some other PCs personal drama, and Taram was the ever-loyal and ever-cheerful sidekick. I loooved the versatility and creativity of playing an illusionist, and she could charm the horns off a minotaur. Went through a lot of clothing changes, but this was my favorite in that it was the product of "my clothing got shredded in battle and I'm stuck on a flying ship so I obviously need to make myself a pirate outfit".
God I loved that gnome.
Will probably turn these into full-color eventually, but for now I'm having to much fun with this medium.
