It would appear that the secret to sticking with Aion is to hardly ever play it. *chuckle-snort* Kael's been out a gaming system for several months, and in that time I've been only playing my ranger - mostly tailoring, gathering, handicrafting, and getting ganked. At the wee age of 31 (my "main" is still 23) I managed to become an expert tailoring by cautiously farming aether at that flamey-lava-freaky place in morheim. I found that during double-xp weekends that the price of the high-end aether shot way up (it must be needed for some something grinding-related) while the cost of high-end fluxes comes way down. Hijinks and furiously-fast gathering ensued!
So, yes, Chei is now a master tailor, and I've decided to put away my gaming system until Kael can join me. When we return we'll have gold level 33 armor waiting for us, if nothing else.

Assuming we don't get mysteriously hacked like everyone else playing Aion right now.
Chei's appearance has changed to match her RP persona. I've concluded, due to my embarrassing tendency to just not even bother fighting back (and occasionally typing /HipHop when I am ganked), that she is a pacifist. Yee auld cliche'd "one of my parents was an elyos" archetype. She is content to use her immortality to create beautiful things and harvest the bounty of the land, and hope for the day when both sides stop listening to propaganda and start working together to deal with the Balaur and the leaking tower.

Mistress Plucky will no doubt have a different take on the PvP bit if/when we come back to the game. I would enjoy doing rift-patrol and playing protect-the-newbies in Morheim.
